the dress and the jeans

This is the dress I bought on Thursday evening and wore to my cousin's wedding on Saturday afternoon. Update: sadly, the dress is no longer offered online so I killed the link. It was quite fabulous and fun to wear. I don't know when we'll get around to posting real photos, so I just linked to the Target page for now.

I'm still loving the jeans I found at Banana Republic in FL. I got them at half of the original price with a sale and coupon combined, then brought them home and had them hemmed. They fit perfectly and they look great. I think it's the first time I've ever had a pair of jeans fit this well. It was so worth the money to have them tailored. I'm considering ordering more of the same style from their web site, but I probably wouldn't get as good of a deal.

I'm grateful for good shopping finds lately...even if they might be temporarily stretching my budget a little. I still say it's worth it.
