The book I finished most recently was War for the Oaks. It's an accessible and refreshing urban fantasy story set in Minneapolis-St. Paul in the 80s. The story was engaging, but what really drew me in was the language author Emma Bull used to tell it. The unique cast of characters added to its beauty. Reading it was a rich experience - I recommend this book to almost anyone.
